When going to brunch in Nashville, don't estimate the power of a great cocktail menu and 2 for 1 drink specials (Bloody Mary's and Mimosa's / Bellinis) at Tavern on Sunday. That sounds appealing for those of us who will enjoy two cocktails for brunch, then tack on cheese biscuits, peanut butter pretzel pancakes, red velvet waffles and fried oysters over a scrambled eggs with smoked thick cut bacon mixed in, welcome to Tavern brunch in Nashville.
If you like eating brunch at the bar, then Tavern is your best bet in town.
Drinks:
Full bar and two for one specials on Sunday (Saturday brunch does not have 2 for 1). Many specialty cocktails for brunch take a look at the full Tavern Nashville Menu below. Did mention they have two for one drinks on Sunday (has to be the bruch libations menu)?
Meals Reviewed:
Eggs Benedict #2 (smoked Salmon) - Awesome Twist on a classic, if you like smoked Salmon.
Eggs Benedict #3 (regular) - I substituted smoked bacon for Canadian Bacon. Their bacon is amazing and their Eggs Benedict is good but not the best in town.
Peanut Butter Pretzel Pancakes - Fantastic concept and a very beautiful presentation, but I felt they were just way too sweet.
Nooner - Scrambled Eggs with bacon, Fried Oysters and White Trash Potato Hash - This is a great dish. Perfectly fried oysters, spicy sour cream and eggs.

Service:
Our server on Sunday was Logan and he did a fantastic job keeping up with everyone and had a great attitude. A tip I would add is to be sure and be vocal as the bar is long and there was only one bartender. Again he did a great job though.
Price / Value:
It is a bit more expensive than plain old breakfast, but hey, this is not a plain old breakfast. They have less expensive and simple items on the menu if you don't want the fancy stuff.
Pros: 2 for 1 drinks specials. Fantastic menu of mixing traditional brunch with some twists to change it up a bit. If you live in Mid-Town, Belmont, Hillsboro Village, Downtown or Green Hills you have the ability to walk and ride the bus is great on a Sunday or Saturday afternoon for brunch. Great place to watch football. Plenty of TV's and audio of the game.
Cons: Their Hollandaise sauce is thick like a pudding. It tastes good but is thick. I think they use a thickener to keep it from separating. Also, the food could be considered a little pricey. The menu is included so judge for yourself.
